This tutorial is my own creation;
however, most of the techniques used in this tutorial, I have learned from others!
Therefore, if you recognize any contribution you have made, I thank you!
And I thank you as well for respecting this as my work by not posting it,
in whole or in part,
in any other location without written permission from me!

Individuals and PSP graphics groups are invited to share my tutorials with others with TEXT LINKS ONLY.
You can e-mail me to let me know you are adding one or more of my tutorials to your list if you like -
it's always fun to know who is doing them!

This is the introduction to a set of tutorials designed to build a genuine Albion Oriental Tea Set modeled after the set my husband purchased in Japan during the Korean War. There are seven tutorials in this set - one each for the teapot, the cup, saucer, plate, platter, sugar bowl, and creamer! Each is written as a different tutorial so as not to make any one tutorial too long! All seven tutorials use the same genuine images, photographed from my Oriental Tea Set! Four of the seven tutorials use selections, stored in the alpha channels of the images provided. Hope you enjoy the series!

This tutorial assumes you have a working knowledge of Paint Shop Pro at the intermediate level (or advanced beginner level with the Glossary), and is written in and for PSP Version 7. However, all PSP images are compatible with PSP Version 6, and the tutorial will probably work just as well in version 6, with a few adjustments in paths!

Supplies - listed in each individual tutorial!

This tutorial actually consists of seven parts! I made the building of each item in the tea set a separate tutorial, so that no one tutorial would be too overwhelming! Feel free to pick and choose among the items available - there's a teapot (of course) and a teacup, a saucer, a plate, a platter, a sugar bowl, and a creamer! Each tutorial will link to the next in the series, and will also provide links for each of the other six parts! Enjoy making your tea set!

Now, on to the teapot!
